Trimble AutoPilot
The Trimble® AgGPS® Autopilot system is a
steering assistant that connects to your
tractor's hydraulic power steering system and
automatically steers the tractor perfectly for
straight, center pivot, curves or headlands.
Simply engage the AgGPS Autopilot and oversee
its operation—operators can accurately stay on
line all day, ensure minimum overlaps and have
more time for infield applications such as
listing, planting, and cultivating. Because it
is completely automated, the AgGPS Autopilot can
work hour after hour, with the same consistent,
high accuracy performance. At the heart of the
system is the AgGPS Navigation Controller
complete with safety monitoring features. The
system includes a lightbar for visual guidance,
an in-cab terminal for field operation, and a
choice of precise GPS receivers, offering
Real-time Kinematic (RTK) or Differential GPS (DGPS)
receivers to meet the needs of your budget.The
AgGPS 170 Field Computer running AgGPS
FieldManager software can be added to the AgGPS
Autopilot RTK or DGPS Light-bar Only (LBO)
systems.
The AgGPS 170 Field Computer Autopilot option
is a top-of-the-line automated steering product
that combines the graphical display, mapping,
application coverage logging, and record keeping
features of the AgGPS 170 Field Computer with
the precision steering of the AgGPS Autopilot.
